Passgocerts.ca acts as an authorised Canadian reseller of third-party certification exam vouchers (CompTIA, ISC², Cisco, AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud, PMI, Red Hat). Because vouchers are issued by our partners and partially non-refundable from their end, our refund policy is intentionally narrow. Please read it carefully before purchasing.
Policy at a glance
- Within 14 days of purchase: 40% of the order subtotal is refundable to your original payment method.
- After 14 days of purchase: orders are non-refundable. No exceptions.
- The $88 CAD admin fee is non-refundable in all cases.
- The 14-day clock starts on the order's payment-confirmation timestamp shown on your dashboard receipt.
1. Eligibility window
You may request a refund within 14 calendar days of the order's payment-confirmation timestamp. After day 14 — even by a few minutes — the order is final and no refund will be issued.
2. Refundable amount
Eligible refunds are calculated as 40% of the order subtotal (the sum of voucher prices in CAD before tax and before the flat $88 CAD admin fee). The remaining 60% covers partner-side voucher costs, processing, and FX exposure we have already absorbed at the time of your order.
- The $88 CAD admin fee is non-refundable in all cases.
- Sales tax (HST/GST) is refunded proportionally to the refunded subtotal.
- Discounts applied at checkout (e.g. WELCOME10) reduce the refundable subtotal proportionally.
3. Ineligible cases (no refund)
The following are not eligible for any refund regardless of timing:
- The exam voucher has already been redeemed, scheduled, or used.
- The exam has been written (passed or failed).
- The voucher has expired (each partner sets its own voucher validity, typically 6–12 months).
- The refund request is submitted on day 15 or later from payment confirmation.
- Orders flagged as fraudulent, chargebacks, or violations of our Terms.
4. How to request a refund
- Log in and open your dashboard.
- Locate the order and click Request Refund — or email refunds@passgocerts.ca with your order number.
- Our team reviews the request, confirms the voucher has not been redeemed with the partner, and processes the eligible refund.
5. Refund timing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method (Stripe or PayPal). Funds typically appear in 5–10 business days; bank or card-issuer timelines may extend this.
6. Exam reschedules vs refunds
If you simply need to change your exam date or location, you do not need a refund — request a reschedule from your dashboard under Manage Exam Time. Reschedules are free up to 72 hours before the booked exam slot.
7. Special cases
Partner-side cancellation. If a partner cancels an exam delivery (e.g. testing centre closure with no available alternative), we will refund 100% of the order subtotal and tax, regardless of the 14-day window. The $88 CAD admin fee remains non-refundable.
Duplicate orders. If you accidentally place a duplicate order within 24 hours, contact us — we will refund the duplicate's subtotal and tax even after the 14-day window, at our discretion. The $88 CAD admin fee remains non-refundable.
